What is a Project Profile?
A project profile is a details information of an industry or project prepared in organized way with accurate data. A project profile contains the background and prospects of a project, cost of the project, investment requirement of the project, production flow, raw materials requirement, working capital requirement, projected profit and loss account statement, balance sheet statement, ratio analysis, market analysis, machinery and civil works requirement, vehicles requirement, etc.
What is the Purpose of the Project Profile?

Source of project funding
Project loan from Bank
Almost all banks in Bangladesh have project loan facility for which you can apply. If your project is feasible in the view of the bank, they provide you project loan. The limit of project loan is not fixed. It depends on requirement of your project. In every case, they will ask for a project profile to study project feasibility.
EEF Loan from ICB, Bangladesh Bank
ICB, a unit of Bangladesh Bank is providing EEF loan for project funding. In this case, you will need a suitable land for proposed project. The maximum limit of total cost of project must not exceed 10 crore. EEF will cover maximum 49% of that cost. They also require a project profile to process the EEF loan.
Foreign Loan/ Foreign Finance for Project
It is now allowed/permitted to get foreign finance or foreign loan for private projects in Bangladesh. In this case, you must have proper documents of land, company and a standard project profile.
